A beautiful collection, Tyler. Our fall has been threatened with winter here in Ontario. Coloured leaves still clinging to the trees with a dusting of snow on the ground. Hope all is well in your world. 🙂

    • Thank you kindly, my friend! This is the first weekend I haven’t been working in about a month, so I’m playing catch up on my blog responding to comments. I recently submitted 3 grants to fund restoration projects, so that’s been keeping me busy. Our daughter, Willow, is almost 10 months old. She’s growing up fast & developing quite a personality! We love her to bits & I’m enjoying fatherhood & father/daughter time 🙂 I hope all is well in your corner of the world too. Have a wonderful week ahead!
      Cheers,
      Tyler 🙂

Tyler, Joyce and I just returned from a workshop in Bozeman led by a Buddhist/analyst. She reminded us, as do your beautiful photos of the impermanence of things, and how quickly the leaves and their generative power can and will get swept away. A very thoughtful collection of images. Thanks.

    • Thank you kindly, Gary! Your words are beautiful & true & I’m glad you enjoyed my photos. My dad & step mom where in Oregon visiting over Thanksgiving. We cut down Willow’s first Christmas tree with them on Friday & they helped decorate. Great food, conversation & priceless memories. Willow just turned 10 months old…she is growing up fast…such a personality! We all love her so much. I hope you, Joyce & your family had a safe & happy Thanksgiving. Have a wonderful week ahead, my friend 🙂
      Cheers,
      Tyler

  3. I can almost smell the vegetation in these photos. Feeling all autumny now. Want to eat some apple crumble looking out at fallen leaves 🙂

My photos aren’t nearly as beautiful as yours, but a tribute to the temporary life of a pet that passed away last week after being with me many years is what I think of for temporary.
