    • Thank you kindly, my friend! My patience paid off & I was able to snap a few photos of this dragonfly before it flew away 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend, Miriam!
      Cheers,
      Tyler 🙂

  1. The dragonfly looks so dainty amongst the foliage.

  2. I once had the most awesome experience with dragonflies. Sitting on the shore of a pristine mountain lake, a swarm of mosquitoes descended upon me. Within seconds, a group of seven large dragonflies maneuvered into position, like attack helicopters, and deftly took out hundreds of mosquitoes right before my eyes, darting forward to within inches of my face, then backing up for another lunge. I was awed by their unique abilities, not to mention grateful for dispersing the cloud.

  3. JANE says:

Well worth the wait… and, generally speaking. Dragonflies do come back to the same spot a couple times… so another wait usually pays off with another encounter!
