  1. a song for the modern age

  2. The rain has been singing on our trees, grass, roof, garden, ponds, sea and me all weekend.

    • Wonderful! Right now, I am listening to the rhythmic patter of rain overhead, each drop tap dancing across our rooftop. This sound brings me so much joy and inner peace. Truly a healing sound 🙂 Thank you for sharing your experience! Have a wonderful day 🙂

living most of my life in Western Washington; in fall and winter, the rain ,from misty to downpour is a close companion . The image you created of the rain drops striking the pavement is delightful.

    • Thank you kindly, my friend! I’m so glad you could relate to my description. I’ve lived in the Pacific NW for almost 10 yrs and have gotten used to the musical sound of rain. A rainstorm is a variation on a theme: water is life! Have a wonderful weekend, Jen E 🙂
