Gentle reminders

The ancient eavesdropper

Gentle reminders
throughout the day
that everything
will be OK —
a ladybug
landing on
your shoulder,
birdsong echoing
outside your window,
trees standing
next to you
so tall & tranquil,
zephyrs silently
piling colorful
confetti at your feet.
