mumbles inside
my chest —
shy & naive
from living
a rib-caged life —
I enable
its bashful
beats with
every breath.

  2. Hey, want to thank you for this post … repost … potent messages between your lines here; what I need to “hear” today. So definitely thanks! And curious re your process of reposting … is that you somehow sense one of us needs a specific poem right now?

    Oh, love that phrase “…from living a rib-caged life”…! 🙂

    • Thank you kindly, Carrie! So glad my words resonated with you 🙂 I am a quiet soul, often lost in thought, finding my voice in silence. I hope you’re having a wonderful week, my friend!
