The full moon
an oculus in
the Pantheon
of night —
its white
beam of
light —
reinforcing
my sight.

Gorgeous poem. I noticed the full moon tonight too…
Thank you kindly, my friend!
Cheers,
Tyler 😊
Lovely… “in the pantheon of night” is lovely imagery.. Here’s the oculus” poem I wrote some time ago 🙂
Some things just seem to align… only a moment ago my husband and I were admiring how bright the moon is tonight. We were wondering if it is a “named” moon. Then to read your lovely poem ❤

I love this wonderful poem by Tyler Pedersen. It reminded me of how I felt looking up at the full moon and stars over Auckland Harbour last night
“…an oculus in the Pantheon of night”: an extraordinary phrase, Tyler.
Thank you kindly, Gary! Glad you enjoyed it, my friend 😊 Have a wonderful weekend!
Cheers,
Tyler
