Forgotten gemstone

Forgotten gemstone

Pinned to
the braided
locks of a
willow grove —
I spied a forgotten
gemstone —
gleaming with
untold worth —
rewarding
my patience.

Incredibly lovely — poem and picture. Was this really a piece of jewelry pinned to the tree or just an unusual creation of nature that looks that way?

    • Thank you kindly, Sandra! Glad you enjoyed it, my friend! Yes, there was an actual hairpin attached to the willow sculpture. It was an unexpected, magical moment that I’ll treasure forever 🙂 Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!
      Cheers,
      Tyler 🙂

    • Thank you, my friend! Glad you enjoyed it 🙂 This hairpin caught my eye, amongst the earthen-colored stems, a gleaming beacon of light. Hope you’re having a wonderful tomorrow today 🙂
      Cheers,
      Tyler
