Creativity cuts

The eye is fickle, but art is infinite. There are countless ways to see the same page depending on your perspective. This is why art is dynamic and universal – it can transcend the medium by just being itself, hovering as a shadowy splotch above the canvas of our consciousness.

The ancient eavesdropper

Size 8.5″ x 11″
eggshell white paper
formal finite space to break
an infinity of diction and dreams
sharp corners curbing sentences
as my mind scrutinizes standard dimensions
irony unrealized until repeated creativity cuts
bleed forth a steady stream of ink
forever freeing brain clots bottled

I’ve been meaning to ask you for ages – why does each post have a ‘reblogged from the ancient eavesdropper’ heading? This I do not grasp …

    • When I re-blog something, it means that I have re-posted older material from my archives. It’s my way of introducing newer readers to the back pages of my blog, recirculating content to mix the old with the new. Lately, I’ve been pretty busy, so re-blogging also serves to fill in times when I haven’t been able to blog new content. Hopefully this makes sense now. Great question. Thanks for asking, my friend. I hope you have a wonderful day!
      Tyler 🙂
