White blankets
of snow insulate
the soil,
shivers of
joy through
the child
inside me —
Winter fun
at my disposal.

    • Awesome! How many inches did you end up with? We had roughly 8-10 inches here in Corvallis! What a wonderful way to start the Winter 🙂 I hope you have a lovely weekend, my friend!

      • We only got a dusting here in Portland… but relatives in Eugene are shoveling snow LOL…

        Colder than heck here though! Goes right into the bones kind of cold… brrrrrrr!

  2. Lovely photo but snow?? urk. Glad to be here in sunny North Cyprus. Been in hot climates too long to cope with snow now, although it does look lovely…..
