Ethereal burial

Ethereal smoke signals billow over rooftops, while trees stab their skeleton hands skyward, reaching for what warmth remains as the day departs, tangled digits soon buried alive by darkness.

Called on the carpet

Our cat Prizm sits stone still like the Sphinx under my chair, until I accidentally step on her tail, she runs fast as the Nile River.
