Caught in transition

Caught in transition

Colors mutate
on maple leaves
across the street —
green to red,
red to orange,
orange to gold —
autumnal morphs
caught in transition.

  1. Unbelievably good photograph!

  2. Oh wow what a sight to behold from across the street.

    • Thank you, Michelle! I feel blessed to be in the presence of such stunning beauty. So many colors metamorphosing in front of my eyes, a plethora of leaves fluttering to earth as butterfly wings, edges soon curling & turning into pale cocoons, winter tombs enriching the fresh green of spring. Have a wonderful weekend, my friend 🙂
      Cheers,
      Tyler

      • Oh I totally agree with you. So much to take in and I am shocked also by the number of butterflies that are attracted to this season. They make it even more fun to watch! Have a wonderful Sunday! Michelle
