Immersed in otherness

May you embrace the otherness inside and outside yourself on a daily basis. Have a wonderful Friday & relaxing weekend, my WordPress friends!

The ancient eavesdropper

Immersed in otherness

Braided river channels meander
across a mountainous landscape,
as water passes freely through
the threshold of earth and sky,
mixing oxygen with sediment —
white riffle clouds stirring
dark rain shadows.
Side ridges of
emerald tree spire stubble
and granite facade stretching
miles —
boundless elements
immersed in otherness.
Manifold microcosms
eternally changing —
different, new, ephemeral,
yet familiar together,
ice ages apart.
Eons elucidating
beautiful mysteries
for all the world
to see.
