High hopes

The
highest
of hopes will 
incinerate a shred
of doubt as it exits 
earth’s atmosphere and
orbits in unwavering ellipses.

      I find this poem uplifting and encouraging. Beautiful metaphor of “hope” incinerating doubt, as it leaves the atmosphere and continues to eclipse doubt over and over again. Beautiful imagery.I needed this.
