Semi-Wordless Wednesday: Our Izzy puppy

Semi-Wordless Wednesday: Our Izzy puppy

How could I not say a few words about our Izzy puppy? She is an interesting mix — part Beagle (ears, nose and tail), part Corgi (long body, short legs). She has the herding instinct of a Corgi and the stubbornness of a Beagle. When her Beagle ears flop back, we affectionately call her Princess Leia. My wife commented that this up close photo makes her nose look huge. Yes, it’s her Snoopy moment (if Snoopy was a girl, of course!).

Cute! I love dogs, little angels. I miss my doggie back home 😦

    • Thank you, my friend! She is both an angel and Tasmanian Devil at times. When she’s having a moment, we say, “Look, Izzy’s getting dizzy!” Hopefully you will get to see your doggie soon…I know the feeling…it’s hard to be away from your furry friend and companion. Have a wonderful Friday and weekend πŸ™‚
      Cheers,

Very sweet dog… you are very lucky!

    • Thank you, my friend! Yes, we are blessed to have two pound puppies in our lives. Izzy is 5 years old and Raven (our flat coat retriever) is 12 years old. They are an inseparable duo. We also have two cats, so it’s a veritable zoo at times in our household! Have a wonderful Friday and weekend!
      Cheers,

  4. She looks very much like our beloved hound who passed away many years ago. The best dog ever.

    • I’m so sorry for your loss, my friend! Our older dog, Raven, is 12 years old and just had surgery a few months ago. We were very worried that she might have cancer, but it turned out she was never fixed properly. Our veterinarian had to go back in and finish the job right, 12 years later! She is now in much better health. I’m not sure what Izzy (and my wife and I) would do without her. I never take our time together for granted, that’s for sure! I hope you have a wonderful Friday and weekend πŸ™‚
      Cheers,
      Tyler

More Izzy words please πŸ™‚ She’s gorgeous.

    • Thank you, my friend! She is the young pup of the bunch (5 years old) and quite the Tasmanian Devil. When she’s having a moment, we say, “Look, Izzy’s getting dizzy!” We also have a 12 year old flat coat retriever named Raven. Izzy and Raven are an inseparable duo who are such a joy to be around. My wife and I feel very blessed! I hope you have a wonderful weekend πŸ™‚
      Cheers,
      Tyler
