Keep your chin up

Happy Friday everyone! It’s been a rough week for me, but I am looking forward to reading my poetry and listening to other creative spirits at the Poetics Corvallis Open Mic event tonight. On Saturday, I’m attending the “Working and Writing in the Woods” workshop at Shotpouch Cabin to help clear my head and re-center myself in Nature. When life gets you down, just know that it can only get better when you focus on your bliss and move ahead with purpose…

The ancient eavesdropper

Life has us
over a barrel,
splintering apart
down Niagara Falls,
just so we can
hit rock bottom
& know
what itย ย
means to keep
our chin up.

  2. Hang in there, Tyler. This, too, shall pass.

    • Thank you, Kathryn! I know it will. I just need to be patient and move forward with a positive attitude. I hope you had a wonderful weekend, my friend!
