Afternoon revelation

Afternoon
revelation,
sun
shining
down
indifferently,
no emphasis
of life under
its light,
I might
as well
be spots
lost on a
butterfly’s
wings.

I would love to be a spot on a butterfly’s wings. Think – how cool would that be!

I would love to be a spot or dot on a butterfly. They are so beautiful, and this poem is as well.

  3. Rhonda says:

Interesting… I just saw another piece, this morning on being a spot on a butterfly’s wing. We are, insignificant yet, beautiful.
