Less talk, more walk

Another beautiful day in Corvallis, Oregon! I’ve been following my poem’s advice, conducting bird habitat surveys on Marys Peak for most of the day. It’s wordless Wednesday in more ways than one…..I don’t want to scare away my feathered friends!

The ancient eavesdropper

No talking while walking

Wednesday
words escape me
while ruminating
along pathways

  2. I love the photograph. I feel exactly the same when’ I ruminate along pathways’. Great poem!

    • Thank you, my friend! It’s amazing how we can have so many shared experiences when wandering along Nature’s pathways. Oftentimes, these moments are distilled in a photograph or poem, but they will always be preserved in our memory as we witnessed them in wordless silence.
      Cheers,
      Tyler 🙂

What about a little merry whistling tune? Would that scare the birds?
