Keep your chin up

Life has us
over a barrel,
splintering apart
down Niagara Falls,
just so we can
hit rock bottom
& know
what it
means to keep
our chin up.

    Or have a split chin!

Happy Friday everyone! It’s been a rough week for me, but I am looking forward to reading my poetry at the Poetics Corvallis Open Mic event tonight. On Saturday, I’m attending the “Working and Writing in the Woods” workshop at Shotpouch Cabin to help clear my head and re-center myself in Nature with other creative spirits. When life gets you down, just know that it can only get better when you focus on your bliss and move ahead with purpose…

Sorry for your rough week…yes gratitude will take you on to next positive thing.

    • Thank you, Bev! I really appreciate your kind words and support. Just got laid off at my work, so it’s back to looking for another job. At least I will always have Nature and my poetry/photography! Hope you had a wonderful weekend, my friend 🙂

    • Thank you very much, my friend! I truly enjoy reading your poetry as well. My weekend was wonderful, spent out in Nature, letting inspiration flow freely like leaves on the breeze.
      Tyler 🙂
