After the paint dries

My mind
paints me
into a corner
of consciousness,
this tongue rolls
out wet wallpaper words
sticking to dry moments.

deep dark magic ‘wet wallpaper words sticking to dry moments’

    • Thank you, my friend! As a poet, I find a wellspring of words to whet my appetite after the paint has dried. Can we ever truly capture the immediacy of the moment? It’s the age old dilemma that corners me time and time again. Hope you had a relaxing weekend and keep up the great work on your blog!
      Cheers,
      Tyler 🙂
