Horsetail stampede

Horsetail stampede

Lost in a
horsetail stampede
of pipe-cleaner green,
stands one tall
cow parsnip,
its chloroplasts
chewing on
solar cud,
a producer
consuming
for the
common
good.

Love the sun light in this photo.

    • Thank you, my friend! My other title for this photo was going to be “Sea of horsetails” because of the way the light floats like seaweed atop the horsetails. Like most of my creative titles, it’s also a play on words, referencing seahorses 😉
      Cheers,
      Tyler

  2. Once again you have captured beautifully that fleeting moment when nature is at its best.

Oh my goodness–this is beautiful! Thank you for the like, Tyler. Good to see you again.

  4. Damnit, now I’m hungry.
