Gung-Ho Garden

A garden's progress

As summer days progress,
the garden gains ground,
growing gung-ho greens
along wheel ruts,
all sprouts
riding atop
covered-wagon
dirt mounds,
dusting off 
appetites
in the
lasting
light.
