Pom-Pom Ponderosas

Pom-Pom Ponderosas

The trail winds past
Ponderosas whose pom-pom
pine needles cheer leaders skyward.

I like pine pom-pons, too. And concrete poetry. Good work!

    • Thank you! Your kind words are much appreciated. It’s funny how I’ve lived around Ponderosa Pine trees for most of my life and not once had this simple idea. Their boughs look like prickly pom-poms – it’s very uplifting for my soul to smell a pine sap-scented breeze and hear the crunch of cones under my feet. Always learning something new from Nature every day! I look forward to following your blog as well. Hope you are having a wonderful, relaxing weekend 🙂
      Cheers,
      Tyler

We are being inspected for suitability for hosting an exchange student! Nerves abound. Need to go outside and allow the peace of my garden to flow in.
