The funny pages

I always enjoy a good laugh to bring me to my senses. This life is filled by silly problems we put too much stock into, distracting our dreams and delaying our full creative potential. Start fresh today as an indelible page written in invisible ink – nobody can read you except yourself!

The ancient eavesdropper

I’m always here,

listening in,

aware of the conversation

but hearing only silence.

Busy bodies hurry past,

dumbed down by their

complacent progress.

It’s as if I am a

crossword puzzle,

the boxes fill up with letters

and I am left vacant,

awaiting definition.

No wonder people buy

into their horoscopes –

it speaks for them.

Truth must be in the funnies

because no one is expecting it.
