Love breathed

Something

beckons to me

softly,

repeatedly,

assuredly

as if love breathed upon my face

from a mother’s cooing lips,

a firstborn of this moment,

I am helpless

but home,

no matter

my place

outside

the womb,

her radiant

affection

bleeds from

my heart,

so pure

always true
