love this! you always end up tapping into something i just did or remembered, i just watched the NatGeo on looking for the giant squid LOL!
Thank you! I have learned that life is chock full of coincidences that we can’t explain. However, it’s safe to say that we prefer the same biologic company, and therefore, squids are not a stretch for us! I too had a similar experience happen to me. Last week I brought in the snake shape poem to read aloud at a local bookstore as part of the Poem in Your Pocket day. Then, before going to bed two nights ago, I read D.H. Lawrence’s “Snake.” Yesterday morning, I received my Earth Day e-mail installment of Poem A Day from the same bookstore (Grass Roots Books), and guess what poem it was? “Snake”! Needless to say, it made this earthling’s heart beat and kick started my week!
Cheers,
Tyler:)
