Inspiration by expiration

My inspiration is aloft with the birds

flying nowhere it seems, until landing

on the topmost tree branch –

thoughts perched in perspective,

eyes affixed to the view missed

while chasing breadcrumbs

at the foot of benched pedestrians –

everywhere, echoes of life carry

higher and higher into the canopy,

an assortment of sound absorbed

by leaf and feather, silently sorted

above and dropped down effortlessly

into my hollow head as seeds

germinating after my first breath.

    Where is your inspiration today?

    inspiration is in the flight
the aim to reach the ultimate height
inspiration is in the roots of tree
it goes deeper for the branches to sway free
inspiration is the eyes that got vision
it makes us develop and prepare for transition

    • Wonderful words and rhymes, my friend! I love your style. It goes to show that the creative process doesn’t end after sharing one poem, but cycles through countless rounds of inspiration like stands of trees transpiring. Keep up the great work on your blog and have a splendid day!
      Cheers,
      Tyler 🙂
