I wrote this before spring arrived, but it felt like the perfect poem to re-post this beautiful morning in Corvallis, Oregon (and hopefully where you are today as well). These plants and sunlight are the inspiration and reason I am writing, breathing and living today. Hope you all have an excellent day 🙂
The sun, a bright strobe light burning off the morning frost and fog, slowly attains its apex as the hours progress towards equinox.
Buds on once naked branches yawn open to reveal countless cotyledons, each emblazoned with dendritic veins, housing chloroplasts which champion every breath I take tomorrow and today.
